This marked the second time Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 12 Low "Taxi" within a seven-year period. And as expected, the release was well received.

Both releases came dressed in the traditional Taxi color scheme of White, Black and Taxi. Both one of the main differences between the two was the inner interior, which the 2004 used a White inner liner and the 2011 retro was done in Black.
